Dole’s Worldwide Packaged Foods Division (“Dole Packaged Foods”) markets a full line of canned fruit, fruit in jars and cups, frozen & dried fruit as well as other fruit-based snack products and is an innovator in new forms of packaging and processing fruit. Dole Packaged Foods sources fruit from Dole-operated plantations, as well as from hundreds of independent growers. This fruit is processed in a number of Dole-owned and operated fruit processing facilities in the Philippines, Thailand and the United States, as well as co-packed by certified suppliers in other fruit-producing regions throughout the world.
Dole’s Asia Fresh Division (“Dole Asia Fresh”) is a leader in growing, sourcing, packing, shipping, distributing and marketing select fresh fruit throughout the Asian market. It primarily sources products from the Philippines, Latin America, China, Thailand, Vietnam and Sri Lanka from both Dole-operated farms as well as independent growers. Dole Asia Fresh utilizes a fleet of dedicated refrigerated ships for optimal and timely fruit transport to north Asian markets as well as refrigerated container shipments direct from its packing houses to other markets. To handle fruit upon arrival, Dole Asia Fresh operates, directly and in partnership with others, banana ripening and cold storage fruit distribution centers in Japan, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and New Zealand among others. It markets its fresh perishable products in many countries throughout Asia and the Middle East.
